Local priorities

The locality led the way for Cornwall with the Newquay pathfinder. This is now forming the cornerstone of the future work as members seek to develop and learn from the scheme.

This locality is also a Primary Care Home site. One of the new initiatives includes the development of leg ulcer groups.

The Newquay practices are also considering the dramatic increase in the population of Newquay and how they might best meet the increasing needs of the population. This will involve working with the local council and people as well as other organisations.
