We are looking to appoint an exceptional and inspiring clinician to join the Shaping Our Future team to provide senior clinical leadership and advice in transforming health and care for local citizens.
This exciting new role has been established to provide outstanding inspirational senior clinical leadership and strategic focus, working in partnership with clinicians across primary, community and secondary care and with senior managers in all local health and care organisations. You will play a lead in co-ordinating the right clinical inputs to ensure services are transformed to meet the needs of local communities in ways which deliver safe, high quality services, secure the best possible outcomes, offer value for money, and can demonstrate clinical ownership and engagement. You will also play a leading role in developing the clinical strategy for the emerging Accountable Care Partnership.
You will be a doctor, nurse or allied health professional, registered with the relevant professional body, and with a good understanding of the current health and care system for the citizens of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
This role offers a once in a generation opportunity to shape future services, and would provide invaluable experience at working at a senior and strategic level for any clinician aspiring to become a Clinical Director within an NHS organisation.
The requirement for this role is three days a week, and can be offered on a secondment basis as appropriate.
